Postdoctoral Associate

Position: Postdoctoral Associate 3 Positions Location: Durham, NC (Duke University School of Medicine) Job Description: We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join cutting-edge research teams at Duke University. Postdoctoral Associates will work within interdisciplinary settings in areas such as gene regulation, cancer biology, chromatin dynamics, stem cell research, biostatistics, and clinical trial methodology. These roles involve conducting innovative and independent research under the guidance of faculty mentors, preparing for full-time academic or research careers. Key Responsibilities: ● Lead research projects on experimental biology, including gene regulation, chromatin biology, cancer immunity, and statistical methodologies. ● Develop and apply advanced analytical methods, such as Bayesian modeling, survival analysis, and machine learning, to predict clinical outcomes. ● Collaborate with internal and external investigators to design studies and analyze data. ● Disseminate findings through publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences. Qualifications: ● PhD or equivalent in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, statistics, or biostatistics. ● Strong publication record and expertise in relevant experimental or computational techniques. ● Excellent communication skills and proficiency in tools like R, Unix/Linux systems, or laboratory methodologies. ● Experience with advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and clinical trial design is a plus.
